One of our core values at 5DayDeal® is generosity. To this end, 10% of every bundle sold is donated to our amazing charity partners! Since 2014 we have donated $2,000,000+ to charity. Thank you for your purchase and support. It is making a global impact for good!
Each sale we select specific featured charity partners to donate to and allow customers to vote where the donations will go post checkout. Below are our current Featured Charity Partners and a little information about them and the impact you are making.
Make-A-Wish® helps create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The Colorado chapter alone has granted more than 5,000 wishes to eligible children.
The Colorado chapter is part of the largest wish-granting organization in the world, with 65 chapters in the United States and its territories, along with 27 international affiliates on five continents. Make-A-Wish estimates a positive impact on more than 300,000 individuals each year.
Wishes are more than just a nice thing
A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a critical illness.
This one belief guides us in everything we do at Make-A-Wish®. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. It compels us to be creative in exceeding the expectations of every wish kid. It drives us to make our donated resources go as far as possible.
Most of all, it’s the founding principle of our vision to grant the wish of every eligible child.
Wishes are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved – wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. The impact varies. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through volunteer work or philanthropy.
Whatever the odds, whatever the obstacles … wishes find a way to make the world better.
Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
— MAKE-A-WISH® MISSION
Mercy Ships® brings hope and healing to the forgotten poor by mobilizing people and resources worldwide, and serving all people without regard for race, gender, or religion. They do this with a big, white, state-of-the-art hospital ship that delivers free life changing surgeries to those that have no access to healthcare. They also provide training to local healthcare professionals to build capacity within the country.
Since 2015 5DayDeal has been able to donate more than $300,000 to Mercy Ships alone!
This money has helped saved lives, fixed eyesight and so much more! We also helped cover the costs of new photography, audio and video equipment to capture and share the stories and life change that happens onboard Mercy Ships!
Transcending Borders. Changing Lives.
Globally, 5 billion people lack access to safe surgery. Children, teens, and adults suffer and die every day from treatable causes, and one child in eight will die before age 5.With the support of people like you, we deploy hospital ships to combat this overwhelming statistic. Since over 50% of the world’s population lives near a coast, our ships are the best way to reach them with state-of-the-art medical care.
Mercy Ships uses hospital ships to transform lives and serve nations, one at a time.
— MERCY SHIPS® VISION
36 million people in the world are blind
...75% is preventable or treatable
Orbis is an international nonprofit organization that brings people together to fight avoidable blindness. With their network of partners they mentor, train and inspire local eye care teams to fight blindness in their own communities. They believe, and 5DayDeal agrees, that no one should live a life of unnecessary blindness, simply because of where they were born.
As photographers and creatives with an appreciation for light and beauty, we are thrilled to be partnering with Orbis to help them bring and protect the vision of those around the world.
Hospital Based Trainings
With the donation from 5DayDeal, Orbis plans to run five Hospital Based Trainings around the world!
When local hospitals in remote areas cannot access the training they need, Orbis brings the training to them. This simple yet powerful concept is at the center of their Hospital Based Training Projects. Bringing high-quality eye care to remote areas is a challenge.
The areas which require the most help are all too often lacking the trained medical professionals to provide service. Solving such a critical problem takes a bit of ingenuity, and Orbis has been working with their partners to meet these challenges head on. Hospital Based Training Projects allow Orbis to partner with hospitals around the world to deliver training right in their existing facilities.
Their Volunteer Faculty bring hands-on training and lectures into hospitals, working with the equipment and staff available to provide customized medical education to local eye care professionals and trainees.
Your support through 5DayDeal will help bring quality eye care to places like Bangladesh. Before 2001, there was no specialized pediatric eye care training in Bangladesh. There was only one pediatric ophthalmologist to serve 62 million children. By 2010, Orbis had established one international-level training center and had trained 18 pediatric ophthalmologists.
Hospital Based Trainings ensure that the skills taught can be used in each hospital’s day-to-day environment to deliver life-changing eye health to people right in the community. These programs last between one and three weeks, and are designed to address the specific needs that these communities are facing. The results are truly life-changing.
The donation from 5DayDeal could also help Orbis grow Cybersight – their telemedicine and learning platform that connects eye care professionals to the training, mentorship, and resources they desperately need to care for their communities.
Their expert volunteers provide on-demand advice for complex cases, mentoring local eye care professionals on diagnosis and treatment of their patients. Cybersight is also a living library of Orbis’s collective training efforts, freely available to all eye health professionals, including current and future generations of nurses, optometrists, anesthesiologists, and ophthalmologists.
They also provide access to live broadcasts of lectures and surgical demonstrations through real-time video conferencing, including broadcasts from their Flying Eye Hospital, to participants all over the world.
The support of Orbis donors like 5DayDeal has enabled them to think differently about classrooms, teaching, and skill sharing, and has enabled live surgeries, lectures and materials to be available and viewable via mobile, so that doctors can access education at no additional cost on a sustainable platform.
Now armed with just a smartphone, local doctors half-way around the world can see through the Orbis volunteer surgeon’s microscope on the Flying Eye Hospital and ask questions in real time. Cybersight has already touched the lives of millions of people – and Orbis is ready to roll up their sleeves to do even more. As we face a future where blindness spreads at an incredible rate, Orbis and 5DayDeal believe Cybersight is our best opportunity to prepare eye health professionals to combat this crisis.
Orbis is a nonprofit organization that works to prevent and treat blindness through hands-on training, public health education, and improved access to quality eye care, advocacy and partnerships with local health care organizations.

The 5DayDeal Foundation exists to lend a helping hand to scientific, environmental, humanitarian and other charitable causes worldwide. They do this via donations made possible by the purchases of 5DayDeal customers around the world.
In 2014 5DayDeal launched with the mission to provide incredible value via limited time bundles to creatives worldwide, while also giving back via a 10% donation of gross sales. We have had the privilege to partner with so many amazing charities in huge ways, with some receiving donations well into 6 figures per year. It has been amazing to see the impact and share that with our customers and partners who have made it possible. With the 5DayDeal Foundation our mission is to help other charities who are not selected for our main charity partnerships due to such limited space there. This will enable to us to support causes we believe in, and have an impact on them even when they are not our main charity partners.
